I spent the last 15 years traveling to some of the most remote regions of North America, South America and Indonesia. I aim to bring those stories and information about wildlands, wildlife and human-nature relationships to as many people as possible. I do this through several different outlets listed below.

Exploration and outdoor adventure writing. This may be focused on the natural history of a rare species, a conservation story, or fly fishing a remote mountain range. There are many reasons to explore and be fascinated with wild places.
Public Speaking
I have presented on my expeditions to remote regions of Indonesia, Alaska and Mexico and as a university professor have delivered lectures on topics such as Mammalogy, Ornithology, Herpetology, Conservation Biology, Wildlife Management, and Field Ecology and Safety in wilderness settings. Scientific Consulting
I can travel to remote and wild regions to gather data from the field, analyze it and summarize it in a scientific format. I can also serve as a natural history expedition leader or assistant.
